Nomads
For the moment, we are nomads
No one has ever had this so bad
Displaced faith and misplaced hearts
Try to understand but I can't even start
Sorted out the trash and treasure
Divide it up in equal measure
Safe and sound, put underground
Slanted rain & colored houses
All secondary as we doubt this
Ability to clearly see
The end of the road
The end of the affair
Meet me at the end of the road
Cause I'm already there
For the moment, we are nomads
No one has ever had this so bad
Traded in the past for now
Try to understand but I just don't know how
Target date, and still no choices
And only temporary voices
To help decide how we collide
It's gotta be all hard rock solid
Before I can relax and fall
It's gotta be so plain to see
The end of the road
The end of the affair
Meet me at the end of the road
Cause I'm already there
And sometimes I believe
That for all time, we will be nomads
And if I'm proven wrong I will be so glad
